Today I finally accepted that my dreams would not come true! It hit me when somebody said to me in the most casual way that today was 14 of may…1st of June I’ll be 28 and I’m not a principal dancer and I’m not singing in any important stage and I’m getting OLD. It think I should quit now and worry to what is going to happen with my life. I might get certified as a pilate’s instructor or maybe just go homeless. I really doesn’t care anymore.

So next tuesday I have this audition for an operetta (All-male cast) Where I’m going to ask for the leading role (That is a female role) A I have to sing a bunch of D,E,F,G and even a A…As a light countertenor I do have the register. But I’m not used to sing so high,as a countertenor I work with Purcell or Händel where the majority of the roles are for alto al rarely hit a quick G perhaps an A b. In all my life as countertenor this is the first time I do nervousness of not giving the notes or worst my voice breaking

Anonymous asked: So you think that only cause Sylvie Guillems says so it's truth? How can you believe in Segei Polunin when he left companies and he is covered of tatttoos? He clearly don't get how a dancer should behave.

Well first I don’t think you get ballet if for you a person is less artist because he has tattoos… But anyway it’s not the fact per se of Sylvie Guillem doing an statement it’s the fact that she is the second person claiming very similar things.

Many people trashed Polunin for the way he left the Royal Ballet and the way he attacked artistic director Monica Mason…Many people just said that Polunin didn’t have work ethics.

Hopefully now that living legend and ballet Godess Sylvie Guillem made very similar declarations about Monica Mason this would vindicate Polunin’s image.

Everybody is trashing Sylvie Guillem to talk bad about Monica Mason…But people should remember that even that Sylvie has had “Artistic differences” with MANY people she never went on public not even with Kenneth McMillan (Who was her enemy in the Royal Ballet almost 10 years) Also people should remember that a few years ago Sergei Polunin described Mason almost in the same way(Actually he was worst cause he attacked the dancers as well) But the thing is that Sylvie is not the first person to talk and describe Monica Mason in that way…Probably the Royal Ballet dancers have one or two things about Mason as well, but as long as they dance in the Royal they won’t say anything.

Mi drunkish tip: Ballet and self stem

Well tonight I’m not drunk and I’ll try to not be drunk anymore…I don’t want to gain weight or became an alcoholic like my father.

This week was hard on Tumblr cause all the hate from Vaganova’s Ice cyborgs…I mean ballerinas (A great majority of this “Old imperial guard” fans are non dancers or amateur dancers who would never fit in the Vaganova method because they are too old or not skinny enough). But something that amuses me is that the think that broomsticks en pointe is legacy of the Traditional Russian Ballet know as “The old imperial guard”

I bet they didn’t know that Agrippina Vaganova’s ideal ballerina was skinny an petit. The idea of this tall ice dolls was formed after FRENCH ballet godess Sylvie Guillem…Yes thanks to Sylvie Guillem a danseuse étoile et française was that “Old russian guard” switch from the petite and gracious ballerina to the tall super long ballerina. Ans thanks to that ballerinas like Uliana Lopatkina and other dancer with her features became stars. And the ballerinas that this people don’t like because they don’t look like a broomstick with pointe shoes were the ideal of the ballerina…Actually a ballerina like Aurélie Dupont embodies the classical body of ballerina including the vision of Agrippina Vaganova’s.

But ok,in almost all the professional ballet schools around the globe the reformed “AS” (After Sylvie) Vaganova’s method is taught. But this method and the “AS” reform made that the vast majority of the girls who are interested in became ballerinas to be rejected to not have the right bone structure.(I had to say that I know brilliant ballerinas who are not  the typical long and skinny type…But again plisetskaya wasn’t like that and Maya plisetskaya was the ideal of the russian ballerina “BS” (Before Sylvie)

There are many studios when girls suffer everyday cause they are not giraffes, some of them dance very well but they not look like Zakharova, some of them are really afraid to go to official Ballet academies and apply cause they are afraid they won’t be allowed to even dance because of their weight (This was something that a girl told me once)

This lead us to a big problem in desperation to look skinny the girls stop eating…And that can really destroy a dancer. A ballerina needs to have a lot of energy to dance and rehearse all day,we don’t need a bunch of dizzy or fainted but skinny ballerinas (Besides not eating makes your bones fragile something that combined with dancing en pointe is terrible).

I’m not saying that the weight doesn’t matter cause it does,it matters for your dance, your balance and your looks. But there is a limit at the end of the day you are the one who is going to dance. Not your legs or your bones. Is the entire you (I know that Somova can touch mars with her hyperextension but she is an ice cyborg who can’t tell a story) It’s you and It doesn’t matter if you can’t touch Mars or Mercury with your leg,if you can really dance…And what I mean by dance is to be able to touch the audience with your dance not to do a million of fouttés without any emotion or even sweat.

Anonymous asked: Russian ballerinas are the best! Marianela Nuñez and Aurelie Dupont are fat and ugly. You don't know anything about ballet if you don't think that Vaganova trained dancers are a superior race. Ballet is not about humanity is about technical skill.

Fat and ugly??? You are beyond stupid…But what can I know about ballet I’m just a professional trained ballet dancer who works as ballet dancer in a ballet company it’s obvious that I don’t know anything about ballet. But in my ballet ignorance I prefer to see a dancer who is able to tell me a story with her dance…Not to count Lopatkina’s ribs…I mean fouttés.

By the way the superior race thing sounds familiar…Isn’t that like that idea that this Adolf Hiltler guy used to kill millions of innocent people and stuffs? I don’t know  I’m so ignorant poor of me :(
